The Escape
His hands grasped her jugular
and left her life suspended
the shape of his fingers
embedded in her neck
So escape was executed
cloaked by pitch black night
with nerves overwhelming
Self esteem ,drowning
in her terror
Heart firmly in her mouth
she fled to the safety
a hostel, now her home
