I Love You

I love you

afterwards,
when poems ooze off the contentment
of my skin
and your fire still smolders
inside my eyes,
I believe in God,
in the holy braille of touch
that lights an internal torch and gives rise
to the sky afire
I believe that a man and woman
are seeded in eternity
like flowers of an unknown origin,
pyramids of colour deeply rooted in a primordial
need to feel.
I believe the dead can dance
when angels make love
in the apples of our smile.

I love the flavour of your words, how they blend together and flow off the tongue. All of your poem is lovely but I particularly like this part. I believe that a man and woman are seeded in eternity like flowers of an unknown origin, pyramids of colour deeply rooted in a primordial need to feel. Thanks for sharing Anna. Love Mand xxx
