To Those Intent On Covering All Bases

Hey!

Let a quarter of your fields lay fallow
have faith in your furrowed path
the yield will be twice more hallowed
and the labor, less worth your wrath

nay!

let all  your fields lay fallow
live off the fat of the land
not all wild fruit is found callow
but sweet as a...
      kid's lemonade stand!

Beautiful sentiment,

I beleive youngsters can sometimes teach us a thing or two. If only our lands would produce what we wanted, but we must sometimes care more for what we get. And spend less times caring about what we've wished for, as i said beautiful sentiment and beautiful poem. Regards Roscoe..

thank you, Roscoe

I say let inspiration guide...if one can learn to trust that it will be there when needed...and in abundance...there is really no need to struggle for it, or anything...but most will never,I'm afraid, get to that point in their lives. a real shame...but I believe that's how it is. thanks again for your input. Cheering.

Great ending. I don't know about letting all the field go, though. The fat of the land isn't as fatty as it used to be. I wouldn't change anything.
