Scattered Rains of Yesterday
Scattered Rains of Yesterday
Crashing through yesterdays dreams
I collide with the reality of today
Bending
twisting
crumpling
into the pain
and the misery
locked on course
like an intercontinental
missle carrying
death and destruction
But all things pass or so it seems
bringing clear skies and sunshine
to brighten tomorrow
so that with misery gone
you can embrace
the new day
and dream
of the
scattered rains of yesterday
Crashing through yesterdays dreams
I collide with the reality of today
Bending
twisting
crumpling
into the pain
and the misery
locked on course
like an intercontinental
missle carrying
death and destruction
But all things pass or so it seems
bringing clear skies and sunshine
to brighten tomorrow
so that with misery gone
you can embrace
the new day
and dream
of the
scattered rains of yesterday
