Ring Toss
We are not ignorant to the desperation.
The carnival no longer hides the view.
The dying prevalence won't crumble,
wide frightened eyes, screaming
and another
and another
The suffering continues
while we watch t.v.
determine our evening snack
relentlessly switching channels
topping off the soda
uncaring of the world
like it doesn't matter
... it's not us
another one
another one
The carnival no longer hides the view.
The dying prevalence won't crumble,
wide frightened eyes, screaming
and another
and another
The suffering continues
while we watch t.v.
determine our evening snack
relentlessly switching channels
topping off the soda
uncaring of the world
like it doesn't matter
... it's not us
another one
another one
