LOVE´S EXECUTIONER*

"It was always a case of one-upmanship,who would fall or better stillslip.   I fell. I would've eaten crumbs, from your outstretched hand -but my parched petulancewas more than you could stand. So I stood. I would've bled white, blanched from an open wound,to  save you from the slap of fateand sorrow of misfortune. So I bled. I would've held upmy heart for renttorn apart, trampled, neglected, wrecked.I am spent. One word would have suffıcedNot poetry; nor wisdom,

  not being nice.
I choose not to remain broken

only bent..."

Wow! Great Poem

I really enjoyed your poem. It is unique. I love the raw emotion in it and its genuine feel. ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~

Hello JayCee!

Isn't it sometimes amazing how unpredictable one's own assessment of one's work is? I didn't find this piece at all good - merely put it out there on record as it were - kind of like the journalling, I am want to do! Well there it is! So glad it made sense to you gals! Ciao Boni
