Metro Sexuality

I watch primping in the mirror
moisturizing you're smooth skin
 and plucking stray eye brows

You  think your prettier than me

You visit the spa
and wear a face pack
don't let it crack

You're good enough to eat

You could be a hand model
if you so choose
you've never done a scrap of hard labour

Bet you  kiss your reflection
in each puddle that you pass
and dye your greying hair

I suppose that  you wear manscara ?

Do you know that you're a man ?
if you didn't have male genitalia
i'd really have to guess

Sure, all of us love ourselves and next our image in a mirror. All other love come next. A good poem with compressed ideas. Continue to write such lines.

I got your...

comment about manscara. I think the reference to face pack is ok. However, the word that you use for your['s] deserves an apostrophe. Also, I think [you] is missing from the first line. You['re] good enough to eat, and you['re] a man? Either that or you [are]. Very nice! LOL, At least it is a nice rant! I get the picture! Love ya, Gee xx

Dear Lou

Favorite lines: Bet you kiss your reflection in each puddle that you pass and dye your greying hair but the last verse is unclear to me. Could just be me. Always, Cat

Late for the party Lou sorry

Very nice. Too much is placed on who we want to be and not into who we are. No amount of makeup or dressing up can change us. We are what nature intended us to be, and if we have to be different to feel better about ourselves then I guess, that’s what we have to do...Great write Lou.
