i envy the woman whose lips

i envy the woman whose lips
your ample mouth has gently kissed
whose very look enslaves your soul
i ponder yet all i have missed

i envy her still whose arms
press you to her breasts so tenderly
who shares your secret hopes and dreams
and keeps your fire burning steadily

i envy the woman whose bed
your long lean body slumbers in
forgive my heart’s dear love desires
that which others consider a sin

i envy the woman i don’t even know
who possesses what i can only desire
to be empowered by someone so fine
i envy her body-her soul on fire

I ponder yet all I have missed this line is a bit choppy perhaps something like I ponder still, on all I have missed just a slight change in a word smoothes it out and still holdds the same meaning but that is only my opion ah ha how about if you switched the places of the wording I envy her yet That's a lot of envy Chrys

Thanks

I'm sorry I don't see how it is choppy and to me it is always better to use one word (yet) in the place of two words when one will clearly do...thank you, though. ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~

Heartfelt Faith

There's nothing worse than to desire the love you can’t have completely. But dreams and fantasies can sometimes be better than no feelings of love. I do have my occasional hot dream-lover and he’s better than the real thing...well from the men I’ve known anyway, ha, ha. Thank You So Much

Xena-Thank you for making me smile. Yes, I think you are right about the fantasy being better. The dream-lover never disappoints...lol! Faith ~I never say anything I don't mean nor do I say anything to be mean.~
