This Dancer In The Dark

This dancer in the dark
A feather in the wind

At night
She pull’s the curtains
Dims the light
Turns the music down low
Closes her eyes
And dreams the dream
That gives her life

Slowly dancing
From side to side
Gently changing her world
For just a while

But then the music stops
Her dreams fade away
She turns up the lights
And no one gets to see
This dancer in the dark

Very good!

Mysterious, as Julie said before, very touching. I can only find one thing I would change: line 4, "she pulls" and not "she pull's". Antoine

Dear Randy

Almost mystical, yet a little remorseful. I very much enjoyed this beautiful write. Favorite lines: But then the music stops Her dreams fade away She turns up the lights And no one gets to see This dancer in the dark Always, Cat

What can I say Hobo

Everyone's said what I was going to say, and liked the lines that I liked best too, so all I can add is...Suuuper. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell
