Pandora's Box of Hell
Sitting in the corner
On a table all alone
Shining bright
Full of promises
And delight
Glowing red
The color of love
If only sent from above
The color of blood
Drained from its victim's veins
A lifetime of everlasting pain
Unfaithfully warm
It sucks her in
Touching the top
Of her skin
Come with me
It soothes as it speaks
Like honey dripping from a tree
I promise to make this all go away
Stay with me
And you will forever be free
The lid slides off
Crumbling beneath its lies
As a foul odor circles about
The demons are out
There is no one to hear her shout
As they pull the hair from her head
Bloody nose
Battered eyes
Children sleep
In a bed of hate
Mother watches
As she cries
And it all began
With a box of lies
