requiem to Dale

in the essence of a thousand reaching flames
tongues of fire
clown like in the lick of dust
the mortal reach of man's reason
into the heart of the last lifeless puppet
and so another falls into the descending hell
of forgetfulness.

Thanks Geeze. I am saddened by the recent expulsion of Dale from the community and I wonder if perhaps there may be an injustice done here. B

Oh what troubles are there in the House Of Neopoets?

Ann of Norway Oh what troubles are there in the House Of Neopoets?:- I do not like that there is dissention in this site, I do not understand the why of it, but if it is any compensation this most wonderfully, strongly versed poem is a fruit worth the birthing; I hope it soothes the wounds of those involved, dear Brother, Barry, this I love every single individual word of it!!! Love to you from Ann.

I particularly liked the

I particularly liked the line : and another falls into the decending hell of forgetfulness. A fitting tribute to a friend. Hopefully someday Dale will be vindicated and prove worthy of it. I sincerely think that you did a fine job of letting everyone know of your belief of Dale's integrity. That is what friends are for. ~ Gee
