forgotten

ForgottenThere once was a butterfly that sat upon a leafShe made all the children laugh, even when they were asleep. The children were all playing, laughing and having funWhen they spotted a rose, a very pretty one The children all came they talked and they staredAnd looked past that rose then discovered many roses there Many months later, one warm autumn dayI was sitting behind a fence watching the children play From behind that fence I could hear allThe children singing songs about roses so dear I remember a time it was me they would sing aboutBut those times were long forgotten and so was I no doubt Hopefully later on maybe sometime in NovemberThose cheerful days we shared would soon be remembered

Welcome to Neo

Nice poem Laetitia. Just in case you don't know this, a centred poem doesn’t upload properly because of the info/picture on the right of the page. It’s best to align your poems to the left. Just want to help if I can. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell
