Garden Daydream ( names of flowers are indicated with capital and italics )
I had a vivid Day Dream about a Russian Princess
She was wearing Ruby Slippers and a gorgeous purple dress.
A matching Purple Parasol and scarlet Pantaloons
White Stars in her jet black hair and sparkling Silver Moons.
Her skin was like an Orchid; pale and brush soft tender
A Royal Lady walking with great dignity and splendour.
She sat down to a table spread with a Cloth Of Gold
As stunning as a Daylily and a Beauty To Behold.
She chatted to a gentleman and allowed the time to pass
And sipped a Rosy Claret from a sparkling crystal glass.
He bought her Chocolate Truffles and Butterscotch delight
Together they heard wedding bells as they danced away the night.
He took her hand and gave her a caged white turtle Dove
And a Crown of Blue Sapphire to symbolize his love.
They married in the spring time where the LilacTulip grows
And she became his one true love and the sweetest Russian Rose.
Now my Dream is over there are Blue Stars in the skies
And I must find my bed to sleep and rest my weary eyes.
