pushpin

smile from the frame
the sunset wave
of light catchs
rays

the colour in your eyes
soft and warm
and thick receeding
shadows in
the backdrop
draw you out

your heartshaped
face

It trips off the tongue and dances its little glint so well

Ann of Norway Perusal the face now past gone yet lives again sun-rays given warmth and breath a dress a sigh, a smile the eye a look tender special in that frame yet once again. Love your glance at the wall Steven. Love to you from Ann+J. "of light catchs"........do you need OF?..........CatchEs..... It trips off the tongue and dances its little glint so well this poem I think this, if made even more succinct will be a gem like the finest of Haïku's just with a little less which in the end is more well you know about that don't you Steven? That's what I think with this one. I cannot find the right one this will have to do for now:- Behind me the moon brushes a shadow of pines lightly on the floor..........Kikaku

I am impressed that Poetry bespeaks poetry

This is what Poetry is all about Inspiring writes that compliment or draw out a poem completely different Your Kikaku is light and contrasting a vivid picture I lived near pines for one summer and that moon..... thank you for the comments
