Reality Lost
No I did not feel
the touch of death
nor great the darkness
in his nest
I did not follow
shadows call
held in summers breeze
no I don't recall
a chill of darkness
had come to rest
to breach our souls
I found us blessed
as call these entities
pressed with fear
searched these times
in aging tears
truths are written
within our dreams
shared with others
sown these seams
together no-one
is bound alone
we face our demons
our souls our own
their quest is simple
consume our minds
our answer strength
in words we rhyme
the touch of death
nor great the darkness
in his nest
I did not follow
shadows call
held in summers breeze
no I don't recall
a chill of darkness
had come to rest
to breach our souls
I found us blessed
as call these entities
pressed with fear
searched these times
in aging tears
truths are written
within our dreams
shared with others
sown these seams
together no-one
is bound alone
we face our demons
our souls our own
their quest is simple
consume our minds
our answer strength
in words we rhyme
