RELEASE
Someone who felt it all but now feels nothing
dwelling so deep within partly unaware blank
stare hardly cares nothing to share,
A life that came to a shuddering halt.
Gave it all and it walked away
now it can`t come back it`s not the way,
a dancing flame now just burning embers
still young but as Grey as December.
Losing your frown as daylight fades
what drives us on compounds you
fenced in with nothing to distract,
no one else behind closed doors that
might react detect the facts.
Follow the cracks lacking yet still impressive
immersed in idle distraction screaming within
to be heard, where echoes fall silent no point
in violence.
Finding comfort within the peace but
still headstrong so where is the release.
dwelling so deep within partly unaware blank
stare hardly cares nothing to share,
A life that came to a shuddering halt.
Gave it all and it walked away
now it can`t come back it`s not the way,
a dancing flame now just burning embers
still young but as Grey as December.
Losing your frown as daylight fades
what drives us on compounds you
fenced in with nothing to distract,
no one else behind closed doors that
might react detect the facts.
Follow the cracks lacking yet still impressive
immersed in idle distraction screaming within
to be heard, where echoes fall silent no point
in violence.
Finding comfort within the peace but
still headstrong so where is the release.
