BHP~Bringing Her Pain

we have to restitch
the skin of this planet
having gouged
and blown up
all that is good

we have dug at
her eyes
with no thought
for her
or ourselves

we have literally
ripped the epidermis
from her back
as she screamed for mercy

we have to bring
her edges together
and saying a million prayers
we need to give thanks
for all her glory

we have to leave her
to heal and rest,
as the farmer
repose's the field
so does the jockey
rest the horse

she too must sleep

for what we have done
in a hundred years
she will take a thousand
in the healing

she is broken and bleeding
her gush stains the planet
her silent screams
are finally heard
but is it too little too late

her scars are seen from space

will she bleed out
and die taking us with her ?

its inevitable one day she will

Dear Cat

There are already rumbles here, certain exports ? the costs are going trough the roof and being on the arse end of the world and being so far away we have to pay more to get stuff down here lol it sucks but thats how it is ... its environmentally hurt the ocean, economically its going to be felt for years to come and the clean up makes me want to wail ... we can but sit and watch the world bleed to death thanks for the comment love and big hugs JayCee x x x ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. Thanks for addressing this,

Thanks for addressing this, JC... "Tis beauty that killed the beast"....no.... this time it's beauty that is killed by the beast; it is the ugly Americanization of the world....that kills the planet, one day at a time. Will the *go green* have any countering effect? Will the powers that be... be made accountable for their arrogant actions and the deep pockets who make all the profits be made to bear the cost and not the average person? I hope so, though I'm not all that convinced....yes, perhaps too little, too late...even though..."Even if I knew the world were to end tomorrow, I would plant an olive tree today."-- Francis of Assisi Will she ever RIP?... Not as long as we are BHP. Nuclear war/disaster will be the cosmic deathplug. ~

I will always be the activist screaming

If through my writing I can shed some light on the environment I will be writing it till I piss someone off ... I am rather good at pissing people off :) and I am going to keep writing and keep annoying till someone takes notice ... she will RIP if we let her :) and its the little people that have to unite and stand against big business and make them stop hey I will do whatever it takes to save this planet ... shes still saveable ... there is still a pulse ... we have to save her before she goes into cardiac arrest love and big hugs Jayne-Chloe x x x ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. Nothing new and maybe nothing blue again,

Ann of Norway Ah sigh oh sigh oh sigh we cry relent repeat and soon we die and what will then be left for other years in other eras, nothing, nothing new and maybe nothing blue again, only the blues of music its refrain goes on forever in the waves and patterns of our shouts, then all will turn to drought and becoming nought will leave no trace no face to see to hear to feel, no knee to kneel devout, as gone will be the whole of what we call the generations; no one left to find it out. We few who see and know, can send our message out and yet it falls on deafened ears, their minds so full of other things no thought for earth the home where we belong, so long, then gone. Love to my concerned angel of life, may the feathers from your wings go out as pamphlets to all people, heed, and stop the greed, put down your guns and see the sunlight show what wonders lie there here below the sky, and join our hands in empathy with all that lives before we slip into the grand abyss. Jayne you got me waffling again, Love to you and to our mother, EARTH. From Ann. XO

Dear Ann

I love this big beauty of ours ... I would love to think that in a hundred years my great grandkids will see a tiger ... or an elephant ... but the rate we are destroying the planet there will be nothing left for them except barren earth .... I am going to keep writing these poems crying for them to stop till someone notices and If I have to post them all over the planet :) I will I am over it its time we all stood up and sadi ENOUGH its our planet and big business uses it for their nasty greed its was the creation of energy and bigger business in my opinion that was the beginning of our downfall our resources arent sustainable anymore we have to look to the sun for our power as most homes in australia are headed for solar energy love and big hugs JayCee lmao now I am waffling lovely lol ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. Thankfully this old world has tremendous ability to self heal.Of course the damn hole has to be plugged first! Many who moan most are first to fill own yards with pesticides and invasive species, then climb into their 10 mpg SUV to go buy their next blood diamond.Well stated poem..........scribbler

Dear Stan

In our house we try to do all we can environmentally ... no plastic, all reuseable shopping bags lol the vegie pealings all go into compost for the garden ... and our power bill in the last twelve months ? we are saving around three hundred a quarter just turning off things that arent in use ... if everyone did their small bit ...the world would be a better place ... thanks for the comment sorry for raving on lol love and hugs JayCee ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. Great subject to cover JayCee

What a dam mess! So much damage has already been done, and so much more to come. Mother Nature can only recover if we help her. And the powers to be are the main ones with the means to do this. They should get off the bums and do more. Xena Quote: Science is what you know; philosophy is what you don't know. - Bertrand Russell
