Tall is the night
on gazelle legs
with zebra lashs
your eyes are pools
oasis drinking
flashing in the ozone
bareness
stand near and feel
my breath as we watch
the glow
your thin sweet wrist
poised upon your words
the ripple of your laugh
harvested from between
your breasts and rising
from your middle like
nights dark velvet
tails of gold like wind
in sunsets dreaming
you have chained my
heart to your talismen
bravado
tamed my wild with
your shy coyness
and the collision
you leave upon my chest
are reasons to remain
paining like tragic
demise
and just as dearly loved
