Puppetry of a Fool
I’ve been lots of things
in my life a mother,
a daughter, a wife
and stupid
yes I said stupid …
but, I'm not so witless?
I can’t see the game
as it plays in the shadows
moving with the Grey
and shade
stupidity can be overcome
as with ignorance,
though ignorance
constantly breeds
contempt,
and the shadows
grow
I’m just an
intelligent idiot
that's trying to
keep a dream alive,
as I breathe into the
ether, I fog the
face of time
and all this while,
I've been playing
shadow puppet’s
with a fool
