In Memory of Doctor Pam

 

She wiggled his toes
and checked  his ears
She took good care of him
all of his seventeen years

What a wonderful doctor
Her name was Dr. Pam
all the knowledge and love
she held in her hands

For all she did for the
sick and the frail, 
the young and the teens
and all the newborn's wails

She cared for all
the healthy and strong
guidance and patience
as they grew right along 

We shall all miss you
Our wonderful Dr. Pam
For now you shall rest in
God's ever loving hands.

Dear Mona

Sometimes my poems dont always rhyme all the way through and I read yours and I will have to come back and think on it some. Thank you so much for commenting and will be back later off to work Love at you Mona Hey honey checking back in and your suggest does not rhyme to me either, so we shall leave it and I do appreciate your comments honey as now we need to find a new doctor for my son, and know the community is really grieving now for her and all her little and big patients she had at the All Childrens Hospital here that many children come to from all over. Thank you honey Back again Ha ha I went in to tweak it again let me know how you think now. It seems when we do change a word or two other words need to be changed also but that is the fun of it like a jigsaw puzzlea:) some of them bigger then others lol

She was a wonderful doctor and we are all still in shock she was only 56 and died in her sleep they said of unknown causes. Love at ya Mona

Thanking you so for stopping in today. I don't think we will find a doctor to fill her shoes for my son. She was an exceptional woman and just like a family friend. Took such good care of all the children there is an article in the St Petersburg Times about her if you google her name it is the Pamela Gallagher from FLorida. We will all miss her, her passing so young Thank you for your thoughts Mona Love and hugs

Thank you for the visit my friend. It does not have to rhyme the whole way through. I know some go by strict format and nothing wrong with that but I go by what feels right to me as in this one I did not want too much crit on it as it is a very sensitive subject at this time. I think Judy was offering a hand thats all. It is all good and thank you for stopping by twin brother. LOL Hugs at ya Mona

I think wherever Dr. Pam is now she is seeing everything, we are still in shock and I heard today she was ill that day at work and the nurses went to her home after two days and seen all her papers there and called police. How hard it has been on all the parents and children that just loved her, SHe like Jayne says was like a family member in the middle of the night I remember Baby Joe so sick that she called something in and I went to get it for him and in the morning his fever dropped down and he was breathing better. She really cared for all the kids, it is sad and I so appreciate all of you who read this poem and sent me a comment. Somewhere I know she is feeling all this love shining on her. and you made a beautiful dedication to her but still i am sad that she didnt get to know you were so special! I wrote a poem for my Dentist who is still very much alive and it makes me smile! if you pardon the pun! much love always shirley harrison

Joey doing good and is out of school for the summer. Trying to find some work as it is hard even for adults, never mind a teenager to find any work around here anymore.
