Bliss
just a brief glimpse at beauty,
like petals blowing in the breeze.
a family of little robins
singing in the trees.
daisies growing wild,
cheering the forest ground,
mocking birds making magic,
with the simplicity of their sound.
butterflies fluttering gracefully,
showing off their wings of every hue,
billowy white clouds making shapes,
upon a sky of blue.
these things only compare,
to the tenderness of your kiss,
for that is the only other thing,
that brings me that much bliss.
yes i love to pretend that i love dark things,
and that I have a heart of stone,
but when i look in your eyes ,my heart fills up,
with such a light that I have ever known.
like petals blowing in the breeze.
a family of little robins
singing in the trees.
daisies growing wild,
cheering the forest ground,
mocking birds making magic,
with the simplicity of their sound.
butterflies fluttering gracefully,
showing off their wings of every hue,
billowy white clouds making shapes,
upon a sky of blue.
these things only compare,
to the tenderness of your kiss,
for that is the only other thing,
that brings me that much bliss.
yes i love to pretend that i love dark things,
and that I have a heart of stone,
but when i look in your eyes ,my heart fills up,
with such a light that I have ever known.
