CLASP

swan in autumn
her hair swims
against the black current

deisel rumbles
and we race the lights

chrome accents
the windows shatterglass
and safety

her skin is the colour
of first snow on the
river her hair is the
dark tall balsams
midnight nestles
in the stars of highlights

and the chain of fine
gold meets at the
smooth apex
that sways

Onyx shiny leather

black her connection rises to her sculpted ear the pierce of vowels against the whine of air along the glass the great shifting gears beneath the passengers nodding in tandem as we plod the broken roads I wonder if I have enough for a medium coffee after work

I'd read a book but I get car sick

just sitting there there are only so many ads to read people watching is an art trying to take in the details everything is so slow usually and yet only so much time to gather all that and to convey a meaning from simplest of observations its a talent and an art thank you Esker~

Good one here Esker

You always write with a soft pen,, never vulgar or insanity and that which makes you a great writer if I shall say so myself. Kudos to a job well done with this one. Peace Mona
