whispers of passion, tendrils of nuance

the heart knows
the air breathes

around and
through

I inhale your
presence and my body slips away

other realms of imagination
vast spaces
between our hands touching
and lips
parting the length and depth,
the breadth of you

we mingle essences, carry the weight
of flesh, know its insistent savagery bearing down
relentlessly, savage rain inside the pleasure dome
filling with tender joy in a sudden insight.

Dear Anna

I love this poem about emotional and physical love. Love is a threefold journey. It is in the mind, the heart and the body. I love the way you have expressed the physical, but my favorite line is: I inhale your presence and my body slips away Always, Cat

Thank you for reading, Cat?

Thank you for reading, Cat? How are you? In my experience when love is experienced as you spoke "Love is a three fold journey. It is in the mind, the heart and the body." Love becomes spiritual. Spiritual love brings us to the edge of a new world, a possible world of our own creation. ~A "Even if I knew the world were to end tomorrow, I would plant an olive tree today."-- Francis of Assisi

Thank you dearest Judd for

Thank you dearest Judd for the read and the critique, but I must ask you: Are you sure you haven't talked with the Professor? He'd be breaking the lines exactly so. lol. I can't help my fingers....or my mind.. with due consideration, of course. ;-) ~A "Even if I knew the world were to end tomorrow, I would plant an olive tree today."-- Francis of Assisi

Oh essence of poetry Anna.

Ann of Norway The poem becomes the liquid flowing, the flesh, its weight, the stepping out into space of the imagination and the mingling of all elements, all body and mind, in the sudden insight so wonderfully expressed, as only you can Anna. Love Ann.

Dear Kailashana

Passion is one of the most complicated emotions we have no control over. We hide it, but it’s there just the same. Xena
