  Roots, Strong or otherwise

  I don't understand it
  How did this happen
  I gave it a wonderful beginning
  They say that's so very important
  "Strong roots will sustain the life"

  I watered it
  I fed it
  I provided everything I knew
  I even gave it love
  "Strong roots will sustain the life"

  Before my eyes
  I saw it die
  I wonder why
  It makes me cry
  "Strong roots will sustain the life ?"

  Not hardly.

Tears are salty

maybe that's what done it in. I really like this. Because it can mean so many different things to different people. Thankfully now it just fits my pitifull tomato plants. Take Care. huey
