Angry elements

Pissing on the human race

Growling at us all

About This Poem

About the Author

Region, Country: Western Australia, AUS

Favorite Poets: Favourite poets? So many, so varied. I like particular songs, not necessarily the singer... and the same goes for poetry. I can honestly say though, that Alfred Noyes' The Highwayman was what inspired my love of poetry - my mother began reading it to me when I was still a baby, and it became my favourite bedtime story

However, your haiku left me wondering, can a dog piss and growl at the same time, naturally, fundamentally and elementarily? ;-) ~ "Even if I knew the world were to end tomorrow, I would plant an olive tree today."-- Francis of Assisi

good things come in small packages, your poem, combined with the title, does an excellent job of describing the nature of a storm. Yep, I really like this one. Love Mand xxxx

Ann of NorwayThere’s one

Ann of Norway There's one about the dogs pissing at the Buddha, was it Issa, probably so. He was always a 'particular' Haïku poet. Its pissing on us now warm Summer rain and three girls of about 15 have bee running about in the grounds of the flats laughing and dancing, wading through the sudden pond that was created by the water, in the centre of the football area, throwing stones into it, and getting thoroughly soaked in their Summer garbs, no rainwear. Joy at the Summer rain, but others might well look on it as the old English saying goes "Its raining cats and dogs" or as my Aunt(not) here in Norway said " The cats and dogs are falling down."!!!!!
