Bliss
I love words
I love the way that they roll off of the tongue
I love the way that they look on the page
They paint images in the mind
that fill my senses like Van Gogh
words meld and develop
before the eyes
Sometimes I like words
regardless of meaning
machination, evisceration, masturbation
I have words that fascinate
for a day , a month, a year
I have favorite sensations they create
Words can form perfection
together they can make your heart fly
or your heart break
Single words or in a sentence
I don't mind which
inside a novel by Bukowski
or in the lyrics of James Douglas Morrison
They are all my bliss
I love the way that they roll off of the tongue
I love the way that they look on the page
They paint images in the mind
that fill my senses like Van Gogh
words meld and develop
before the eyes
Sometimes I like words
regardless of meaning
machination, evisceration, masturbation
I have words that fascinate
for a day , a month, a year
I have favorite sensations they create
Words can form perfection
together they can make your heart fly
or your heart break
Single words or in a sentence
I don't mind which
inside a novel by Bukowski
or in the lyrics of James Douglas Morrison
They are all my bliss
