Beauty of the night

Street light dances
across my skin
as i sit under the light
and watch the night

Wolfs howl
and come closer
foxes sneak
up on me
as they hunt

Such beauty
in the night,
in the hunt

I lay back
upon the sidewalk
and laugh
it's midnight
and it's time to play

I feel free
as the night
embraces me
darkness brushes
my skin

Nothing can compare
to the beauty of the night
to the freedom
that comes with
 darkness

So, I lay down
and just feel
the night
against me

All I do
is watch
the night
dance and shimmer

Enjoy the Stars

for me. I haven't seen them in years. But I still enjoy sitting outside at night. Frogs sing me to sleep every night. One of the joys of living in the country. I'm Happy to see your upbeat. May your Irish eyes brighten all our days. Take Care. huey
