A Place Where You Can't Go
Hidden beneath the breath of timeAre things that remain unseenIt's a place neither here nor thereFor it's simply in between Hollow stares, with eyes of painIs the evidence that they can seeA place, without understandingAnd it will not set us free It captures all our hopes and dreamsIt's like they don't existWho we were and who we areHas simply been dismissed Our loved ones left alone to ponderAbout a place they cannot goThey try to help us mend our woundsBut the scars just will not show Depression is a such lonely placeIt hides inside our mindIt steals the joy that we once knewWhere peace is hard to find It swallows our tomorrowsAs it leaves an empty soulWe're left alone to sufferIn a place where you can't go
