Golden Dreams

I am sieving my dreamsTo remove the detritusWashing away the dirtOf my lied to selfAllowing the golden particlesOf moral intuitive beliefsTo be weighed for their worth I am the cleanserThe judge of my own valuesThe dark of the soiledWashed away with the waters of light Can I kill the limpet lustsWho have habitually companioned meFor all these yearsPluck them and dash themRead their entrails as a sign of growth and power As I riddle my panIs the gleaming glittering residueReal or just fools gold.

Seabach..

i liked the theme of your poem ...about introspection and cleansing..a process which one should go through while one moves from one milstone to the next..in the journey of life.. i loved these lines especially.. The dark of the soiled Washed away with the waters of light warmly (sublime_ocean)

If you do this thing with care you will have the gold that makes the threads that hold us to the life we are striving to be, a most beutiful piece that needs another piece that shows you the love that comes with that reasoning and task that you have shown all in this piece, Have a lovely journey pathed with gold, Yours Ian.T Let me hold the teardrop That holds beauty to my eyes Where all things we strive for Are perfection in Love Yenti

Hello Ian

Hopefully there will follow a second piece when all has been gilded but life is about finding little nuggets of joy and love and realisations and so that final piece worthy of being called that will be my epitaph and everything else written in between an experiment. Thanks Ian

Hi Rosina

Without the bad to balance the good we have no point of perception. There is a time and place for both Seabhac

Hi Annie

Kind words and thank you for them. I am happy you found both messages, there are more but each will find their own...the true beauty and uniqueness of the magic of poetry. Thanks you Seabhac

"As I riddle my pan Is the gleaming glittering residue"

Ann of Norway "As I riddle my pan Is the gleaming glittering residue Real or just fools gold." Love this bit it is so felt like a shake, and it has the absurd within its expression too, no if all is paradise we wouldn't even know we were there in it. Love Ann.

Hi Mona

Thanks for coming by and yes I have been just getting little snatches of time to come and visit the site ...missing catching up on the works of my friends ...you are all so prolific at the moment I feel I don't know where to start. The sun is shining and there is so much outdoors to be done in our short summer season so I will pluck the occassional poem to savour in my work and write and write as I seem to be doing at the moment. I appreciate your kind thoughts Seabhac
