Minds Eye Orchard

I live in the spiritworld...
  Where wrath of time
  Is prose impearled

Take my pen and paint your shore~
  Sixteen Pence
  Is twice two four

Commence your golden shaded lore~
  And shape my words
  To tend no more

Jeez

Hope you feel better J. If it's profound that is the highest complement, I respect your criticism to the utmost... I will strive to continue on the same path... if their is a path! Brian aka Club Special.

I loved your rhyme

I loved your rhyme structure, it was smooth and unlaboured if you catch my drift. it rolled off the tongue very well, i think it is much harder to produce a good piece of rhymed verse than free verse, you can do what you like with freeverse and you won't destroy the pattern but rhymed verse can be much more restrictive, you have made a perfect rhyming poem. and yes like the others said it is also profound, something I must read a few times to get the whole meaning. thanks, john
