A Close Collect Call
When all of our days
are sunny, ridge gardens
and our nights
weave a tapestry of comfort through our veins;
and "folly" whispers in our ears at nauseum,
'tis then, we'll tragically lose sight of the rainbow.
Shame that it is
we become desensitized.
~
Then gravity
begins pulling with, "angst"
and the atmosphere
becomes so dense, and dank...that momentum soon becomes a "lost art form";
that's when it's apparent we've lost "sight"
my touchstone is the most important person in my life,
and deserves to know
just how sincere my apology is.
~
My minutes
began lasting much longer
and my total hours
led me through a labyrinth of discomfort, and pain;
as complex as our own solar system
and tellingly vague as, discerning which side is the dark side of the moon
but, at least know I didn't lose sight of you
I merely lost sight of me.
are sunny, ridge gardens
and our nights
weave a tapestry of comfort through our veins;
and "folly" whispers in our ears at nauseum,
'tis then, we'll tragically lose sight of the rainbow.
Shame that it is
we become desensitized.
~
Then gravity
begins pulling with, "angst"
and the atmosphere
becomes so dense, and dank...that momentum soon becomes a "lost art form";
that's when it's apparent we've lost "sight"
my touchstone is the most important person in my life,
and deserves to know
just how sincere my apology is.

My minutes
began lasting much longer
and my total hours
led me through a labyrinth of discomfort, and pain;
as complex as our own solar system
and tellingly vague as, discerning which side is the dark side of the moon
but, at least know I didn't lose sight of you
I merely lost sight of me.
