The swallow does his dance in the air, 

the dipper under water, 

the wagtail across the rocks 

and the aspen tree applauds with its leaves 

in the gentle Summer breezes; 

a feeling of freedom 

within the expression of dance, 

an act of creation is born of such an atmosphere, 

where the acrobats of nature 

are the art of a culture, 

innate in our beings, personified, 

carried out with such grace and beauty, 

excitement and joy, 

that to exist 

is enough of an explanation 

of existence.
