STRANDED SEAMAN
STRANDED SEAMAN Captain Charles like Robinson CrusoeWe were told, sailed with his crew on a shipDeeper, down south into the oceanOn a gripping trade route to the eastBut monsoon blew them farther westStranded, they finally found a landAnchored the vessel to stretch their legsLong restricted, by partial space in the shipThey ran to the hills to view the horizonSome, into the forest for games and hunts Into the woods, the helmsman wentIn search of flowers and fruitsFound apples, bananas, mangoes and pearsAnd brought along flames of the forestWith excitement to share his findsHe went back to meet with his teamBehold! The ship had sailed awayHis family, taken by pirates, he was aloneThe land beckoned for a new beginningBut the sea took everything away
