Now that Im an oldster and not laying out on the hood of my car downtown Huntsville Ontario like i did blasting Siouxsie Sioux out the speakers with my freind (but did put money in the meter) (yes I was that kind of teen then) I look at the younger peoples but only enjoying their fun as its new to them now as it once was for me to be rebellious and mostly exuberantly outgoing as you say you are looking forward too my fave line is about jumping off pier I finally jumped off a twenty foot high rock cliff into clear deep water only when I was thirty one or two Im now forty five and havent done it since but the joy of that freefall of just doing it was incredible thank you for your poem Esker~ (and tourds does look funny like turds :) )

You make me think that we all should just liven up and have some fun this summer!!! Thanks for the reminder as to what summer is really about- you always have a unique perspective on things that us older people often overlook. We get so caught up in working, college, etc that sometimes to just have fun and be the kids we really are at heart can get forgotten. Like Steven, my favourite lines: Jump off a Pier without looking down walk around like i own the town go to the beach and just tan. (you're forgetting to capitalize your I's btw) Thanks for this one kiddo. Peace and love!!! Big sis
