A Love Story
The stars reflect her beautyWhile competing for her smileEach one thinks her love is their'sWhile filled with blind denial She continues to entice themAs each one feels her stareHer love belongs to all of themBut none will choose to share A falling star is nothing moreThan a star with a broken heartCrippled by her rejectionIt will suddenly fall apart Whenever you see a twinkling starIt's just the Lover's danceVying for her attentionIn its quest to find romance The Dippers, both big and smallWere formed to quench her thirstThey stand in line to honor herAs they battle to be the first The Northern Star takes precedenceAs he points which way to goHis countenance is blindingAs he absorbs her radiant glow So, don't forget to watch the starsAnd smile each time they swoonFor now you know this love storyBetween the stars and moon
