A Youthful Dream

I struggled,
in my youth
I was the amazon
that nature intended
I was blooded with
a mongols sword
I was fearless and took life
by the jugular and twisted

I have shown
the many faces
of Eve
but never
the real beauty
of true strength,
in and of, I,
had never let
myself just be,
the feeling
breathing being,
that fate's
creator intended,
to be fearless

I was found
in strength
to still be a weak
and frightened child

that was
long ago, now,
I have forgotten
the Lost Boys and Peter,
and the tick-tock
stopped in another realm
Sleeping Beauty now rests
between yellowing pages,
and Pinocchio is just
a blue fairy dream

the first blood stained
every rhyme and story,

as the blood ran,
so their words
were forever erased 

only now
I write my own myth
