Victor Pier JR.
5/16/09
Bad Becca day
Cosmetology class
I catch a glimpse of a conversation
I hear 2 words that I have not heard in years
“Victor Pier”
My ears perk right up
I strive to listen harder
Still I only hear bits and pieces
“Andrew”
“John Munson”
“Car accident”
“DEAD”
It can’t be him
What am I gonna do
Why another person I love
Don’t freak yourself out
There is no way it is him
I run to Heidi and Danielle
“What about an accident”
“What Happened?”
They spoke the 3 words nobody wants to hear
Would you stick around to hear more?
I did not
I grab Sabrina
Punch the locker
Break my knuckles
Spin around and drop to my knees
She hugs me
“What’s wrong,” she says
I look in her eyes and out come the tears
I can see her concern
She is worried about me
“Victor”
That is all it took
She got it right away
She already knew the story
She held on to me for dear life
I can still hear those 3 words today
They play over and over in my brain
I still feel it
PAIN
The worst it’s ever been in my life
I can still see the words coming off Danielle’s lips
“HE IS DEAD”
And I will never forget him
And I will never
Ever
Be the same
