More?

I have my ass in overdrive,
a double coffee helps my run.
Too many hours, too much overtime,
who will care when I am gone?

Do ya think there'll be
some maker of me
that will pat me on the back?
Well I believe my mind
will've simply died,
and I won't wonder where I'm at.

To me...
it's greedy to think there's more,
and god was original sin,
so I greet each day in my usual way,
and gratefully smile up to its end.

Life is shit sometimes. And

Life is shit sometimes. And if you still can smile, Moonman, you are a wise man. ~A "Just as what you dream is your own and no one else can observe it, so the world you see is your own." ~ Nisargadatta

Anna...

I do try and smile through it all, sometimes it is a very difficult ordeal when the big fan is on, but what good does it do to be sad/mad about it, it doesn't change anything. Richard

Indeed my dear Moonman, I

Indeed my dear Moonman, I have found the only emotion that is self-sustaining is joy, bliss and love. Anything else depletes my energy, even if at first I am smothered, obsessed or stark raving mad. ;-) However, remember there are some things we have within our power to change and say *no*, that's *enough*. "it’s greedy to think there’s more, and god was original sin, so I greet each day in my usual way, and gratefully smile up to its end." Absolutely. Excellent write man, excellent. And not one thing to critique. Respectfully Jim "Laws and rules don't kill freedom: narrow-minded intolerance does" : Race
