Me

     
                  Me

I've been thinking 'bout tomorrow
  and wondering where I'll be
Knowing that wherever I am         
  along with me is me

And me sometimes is happy
  and me sometimes is sad
And me's been known to be real good
  but believe me me's been bad

It's taken alot of living
  to get me to this place
A few of the hard times traveling     
  can be seen upon my face

But what I've done and been through   
  makes me what I am
The highs and lows...and wrongs and rights
  me has to understand

So the question that I'm thinking
  do I change and alter me
Once I make those changes
  who if not me will I be

As I go about my travels
  and this stranger lives inside
When the walls start closing in
   where then will me hide

So I don't think I'll be changing 
  think I'll keep me as I am
And to those that need me different
  they'll just have to understand

That this is the me they met
  and this is the me I be
For to be true to someone else
  I  first have to be true to me.
