OMEN
OMEN When something happensExtra ordinary in most casesYou hear people say the clichéI saw the sign, I knew it was coming The crow we heard close byThe loss in the family at noonA portent call from the spirit worldAnd so we call the guiltless bird evil This entrenched belief of our peopleThe children chased the birds awayGo to where there are many spoonsThey shout, so another death is averted The warning objects differ amongst peopleThe black cat, a spider hanging downEyelid tickling or a snake on the pathwayPremonition has a creepy way with man Forecasts need not be bad or illFor some carry messages of hopeLike the star to the three wise menWhen a son was born to save the world
