Taken Within

Devils breath
Devils Eye's

test our fear
tempt with lies

dark with poise
in silent waves

a stillness covers
starlight graves

Parents children
brothers too

Death has taken
Devils Due

rolling wails
conquests shrill

to taunt the living
tearing at will's

shadows watched
pierced this night

in search of nesters
in Hate's delight

no one is safe
no one can hide

Death is an Evil
devouring pride

as fractured light
splits these dreams

onto paper
are written screams

blessed the timid
that guide our way

if not forsaken
here we'd stay.

Dearest John

this one felt like you where trying to conjour something up like a witches chant ... Well you know I am not a fan of the devil and I got the feel you were being haunted by something or someone. I never am haunted by anything and yes they say the devil is alive and well..that is not for me to say. After seeing so much devilution (my word) :) in the world today I know there something out there creating havoc and I do not believe it is all man made, That is my opinion here.. Hi Mona , How are you. I am like you ,in that the DEVIL, IS NOT ONE OF THE THINGS I USUALLY WRITE ABOUT, JUST SOME-TIMES GOTTA VENT. So this is my vent . and I also agree that there are others ,or other things in the works out in our world causing pain and anxiety, making for an unbalance or a critical turning in Humanities unrest. Hey Rosina. How are you. I guess at times we m=need to reflect on where we are in life and what our priorities are, and if one can make that decision, then it is what it should be. One decision I don't have to deal with. why she asks? because I'm not a reader, never have been, or will be. I leave that luxury, to the multitudes who enjoy the pleasures of reading. which is not one of mine. So I hope you have a good time in your reading adventures, and we shall see you around the site.
