a nocturnal republic

the people in my dreams speak slowly they are trying to interpret every gaze skin washes over their bones simple misunderstandings the people in my dreams want to know they focus they weave in their understandings the landscape is absent of villians They pocket dinner mints. They have swept the porches from heavens gates and corked off the pit through which you would otherwise tumble to hell conflict exists they dont agree usually, determined with each token And skip rope with a triple helix

thanks

Thanks for dropping by. The characters in my dreams get confused or angry at their worst but they are usually willing to talk. Unless I'm having a nightmare sometimes there are characters that aren't that way but usually I dream about people who are very interactive and watchful

Interwoven… Triple helix.

Interwoven... Triple helix. What a dream! Thank you for sharing, as always your poetry raises the bar. ~A "Just as what you dream is your own and no one else can observe it, so the world you see is your own." ~ Nisargadatta

Nice write Whitetea

There's a couple of typos too... of {villians} …[villains] They pocket dinner mints. they {dont} agree usually, …[don’t] determined with each token Rosina xena465

Thanks for pointing that

Thanks for pointing that out. I typed that out on my phone sometime past midnight. My phone is the only way I can get online since my internet has been down for a week. Its easy to miss the small things on my phone.

This stands on its own

and I have taken the liberty of changing some line breaks and only removed one phrase see what you think. the people in my dreams speak slowly they are trying to interpret every gaze skin washes over their bones simple misunderstandings the people in my dreams want to know they focus they weave in their understandings the landscape is absent of villains They pocket dinner mints. They have swept the porches from heavens gates and corked off the pit through which you would tumble to hell conflict exists they don't agree usually, determined with each token And skip rope with a triple helix Cheers, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible, "the alleged short-cut to knowledge, which is faith, is only a short-circuit destroying the mind." [Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged]
