Soul Awkward Signals
She silently entered the room with a rush
and our eyes met stoically, however tenuously,
shooting looks that meant something else
to the untrained eye within the shadows.
Her lips parted ever so slightly,
silently burning my skin with her insistent caresses,
while her perfume performed
a battery inside my nasal membranes,
and I was rendered slightly unconscious,
with the remnants of my heart within her hand.
After a while the air returned to the room,
I retrieved my hat, and I fled
to a place that exists only for me,
a haven where solace waits for me, by the words, on the pillars.
and our eyes met stoically, however tenuously,
shooting looks that meant something else
to the untrained eye within the shadows.
Her lips parted ever so slightly,
silently burning my skin with her insistent caresses,
while her perfume performed
a battery inside my nasal membranes,
and I was rendered slightly unconscious,
with the remnants of my heart within her hand.
After a while the air returned to the room,
I retrieved my hat, and I fled
to a place that exists only for me,
a haven where solace waits for me, by the words, on the pillars.
