Entropy

It's an insane phenomena
this "chance" denominator in life

that you came along
from Washington

and I came along from Michigan
and somehow, we two runaways

were brought together
in this dark, dank

unspeakably cruel universe
together in California's high desert

what are the odds?
So, whatever I can do

to filch, steal, give, and caress
all that's happy, good, and loving

I will completely strive for it.
Whatever works.
