Glaucoma
The universe is abundant with
things we cannot see.
Dark matter, dark energy.
And even galaxies
which, under infra-red light,
glow iridescent, like neon.
But within the human range of the spectrum
our eyes have us decipher these as
dull empty gas,
nothing more there,
dead.
Truth is they are teeming with
brightly exploding new stars.
We have such limited vision.
