Flight Plans of a Witch; a good night to fly?
as I watch, ice fingers
smoking the glass
a wind started biting
and rippled the grass
a sheen of rain
shimmered the road
a litter tornado
took on more load
an epiphany struck
as lightning hit a tree
I watched as it fell
straight down at me
as if in slow motion
its branches danced
and scattered the leaves
that are laying to chance
the hands of nature
still clap in the night
and the mirror of gods
was shattered with light
holding my broom
in both of my hands
now I can zoom off
with no flight plan
