The New Birth
To believe in
impossible dreams
accepting one can live
not touched
by daily silence
this grief that others give
our inner thoughts
will warm with force
each life long search
alone our course
lived in dreams
these selfish nights
or silent in daydreams
we all hold tight
still in all our
dreams will thrive
if only just one
nurtured survives
a wine to be tasted
a mountain to climb
endless a voyage
building with time
conquered dominions
centered our streams
of hopes never slowing
just passing that seem
to open this void
once closed to all
a last final test
for few now calls
bright this beginning
in new birth we sow
with impossible dreams
off they go!!
impossible dreams
accepting one can live
not touched
by daily silence
this grief that others give
our inner thoughts
will warm with force
each life long search
alone our course
lived in dreams
these selfish nights
or silent in daydreams
we all hold tight
still in all our
dreams will thrive
if only just one
nurtured survives
a wine to be tasted
a mountain to climb
endless a voyage
building with time
conquered dominions
centered our streams
of hopes never slowing
just passing that seem
to open this void
once closed to all
a last final test
for few now calls
bright this beginning
in new birth we sow
with impossible dreams
off they go!!
