Arab-American Beauty Queen ~ what's in a name?
They strut their stuff
the beauties of our
wondrous state of
womanhood
judges will make
their marks
and America
will shower their
reigning queen
with the indignancy
of bigotry.
I am sick to death, America!
sick sick sick
of your surface beauty
Eve is not an
apple rotting,
the Statue of Liberty
is putting on a blindfold,
though it's raining
she seems unconcerned.
the beauties of our
wondrous state of
womanhood
judges will make
their marks
and America
will shower their
reigning queen
with the indignancy
of bigotry.
I am sick to death, America!
sick sick sick
of your surface beauty
Eve is not an
apple rotting,
the Statue of Liberty
is putting on a blindfold,
though it's raining
she seems unconcerned.
