Why I love you????

 


What's love all about Eh!

I love you because

there has to be a cause

of my loving you

love is not always sexual

I’ve passed that age

for by now I know for definite

this world’s a simple stage

Where age is just a number.

 

I know more youthful folks

perhaps far lesser

than my own age,

for they’re coming on

and

I’m going off the stage.

 

I love you more perhaps

by now you know

what’s all love  about

not only sex, lust or desire,

that’s what’s all over

what is my love about

I’m glad now

You too know….

Love happens in all ages

I'm 53 and I've not been loved for several years, my fault because I've shut myself off. So if you want love, you have to give love. As far as the nominate goes Loved, when you get one nominate, depending on how old the post is, the rate goes down until someone else nomimates the poem.
