I DON'T WANNA BE A REBEL

 I want to live somewhereWhere people trust the governmentWhere there’s no need for punishmentThat place ain’t here nor there I don’t wanna be a rebel I want to live somewhereWhere many help out one who dropsWhere no one needs to call the copsThat place ain’t here nor there I don’t wanna be a rebel I want to live somewhereWhere no one suffers from neglectWhere all share mutual respectThat place ain’t here nor there I don’t wanna be a rebel I want to live somewhereWhere none are poor and all are richWhere no one’s hunted like a witchThat place ain’t here nor there I don’t wanna be a rebel I want to live somewhereWhere no one will abuse anotherWhere all are sister all are brotherThat place ain’t here nor there I don’t wanna be a rebel I want to live somewhereWhere we all live at peace with natureWhere we protect our children’s futureThat place ain’t here nor there I don’t wanna be a rebel I want to live somewhereWhere humans are all on one levelWhere no one has the need to rebelThat place ain’t here nor there I guess someone has to rebel

because I don't use stars either. There will always be a need for us rebels. Even if we are a sleeper rebel just waiting our wake up cause. We are loosing more freedom every day. At what point do we wake up and say"enough is enough" and take a stand. Will it be too late then? But you canot devide wealth equil. Don't beleave it. Give every one in a prison the same. In a short time. A few will have nothing. A few will have it all.Take Care Rebel. Lets bring the world together one poet at a time. huey

don't wanna be a rebel

I think rebellion is forced on people.Folks in U.S. only seem to get involved in process when political pendulum has swung so far it hits them in the face.Thanks to our founding fathers, we have a system that allows for rebellion via ballot.Thanks to ourselves for having tolerance to abide by results until next election instead of taking to streets with guns. very insightful work. scribbler

THE REBEL IN YOU WROTE THIS POEM

this is one poem i will always want to read, if you would permit me i can send it to a media house in my country Nigeria for publication, it speaks volume about my country. this same feeling is what prompted me to write a poem "JINGLES OF PAIN" . its a bout the sufferings of my people in the Niger delta, where the oil wealth of Nigeria is gotten , yet squalor and poverty is my peoples identity. let us not pretend whether you like it of not there is always a rebel in you that would want to rebel and fight the wrong of injustice. If you do so please send me a link so I can go see it. It's so sad, the contradiction that you mention: so much natural wealth, yet a huge majority of humans live in appalling poverty. My Professor friend

I got to shake your hand with this one as I read this it is the making of a really great song you know. Just wanted to tell you I have not crit for you but I must say a good job here and there.
